The associated press has confirmed, Darnell Holguin, a Brooklyn native and one New Yorks finest and most sought after mixologist, named one of top ten bartenders in New York and the mastermind behind Splashes (drink mixers ), has filed a multi-million dollar law suit against Splashes Mini Bar Llc | Splashes LLC owners Maria Baum and Hillary Pereira. Splashes has raised upwards of $5,000,000.00 in funding, its drink mixers are sold in various locations throughout New York City, and it has sought strategic partnerships and agreements with internationally recognized companies such as JetBlue, Williams Sonoma, Delta and West Elm, with plans to be in Yankee Stadium by this summer. Owners Maria Baum and Hillary Pereira have allegedly failed to compensate Holguin for his vitale role in the creation of Splashes ( drink mixers ) and his ongoing services since it’s inception.
